Spoiler: money shit, past suicidal ideation

grew up with money
didn't have an allowance but didn't usually have trouble getting stuff if I asked for it (though I didn't usually ask often)
parents are paying for nearly everything while I'm in school, which I recognize is a massive privilege
but I can't shake the feeling that it can't last
when I went to the hospital against their wishes instead of trying to go back to school suicidal, they threatened to stop paying for school
I lost all financial support except for phone and insurance (still a lot) while I was out of school, spent four or five months relying on donations, the odd commission, my brief ability to hold down a job, and friends' kindness
now I'm back in school and things have returned to the way they were
but I can't stop fucking panicking that if I fuck up again I will lose all support, because I know now that it's conditional on me being a Good Daughter
I can't hold down a full-time job, I feel like most of my goodwill with friends has run out
I can't afford to fuck up again but I feel like it's only a matter of time

 

The flatness of her eyes haunts me. It wouldn't be so bad if there wasn't gradient in her hair and fine lines in her blush and shadows, but now. All kinds of little detail, and then. the eyes.

They finished an hour ago.... I could have showered then. At least I pinged roomies with my intent to shower when the guys were done, so one of them let me know. And I've showered now. And pain med. And bed.

You might just get to do things sooner.
