Went outside. Succeeded in convincing Beer Dads that the Lap Swimming Lane is not in fact the Drink Beer and Gossip Shoot The Shit Lane. Only took four laps swimming around them and a direct confrontation to get my point across.
I went outside and had dinner on the patio of a restaurant in town with a bunch of other medical interns, and after we went for ice cream and it was delicious. 10/10 would recommend.
Went outside. Someone else swimming laps in lap lane! Got competitive. Remembered why I never raced short distance. Assigned self an extra 100yrds as reminder not to get cocky. (Still won tho :D)
Went outside and refilled the bird feeder. It hasn't even been up a full week yet and the house sparrows emptied it to the bottom already lol. You'd think it was the only source of food for miles with how many of them at in the yard every morning. Plus the squirrel, and now this morning there were a few female black birds in the sparrow mix!
Went outside, listened to nice music, overcame avoidance and anxiety and enrolled for final college paper (it counts as a college course and you have to enroll in it).
Went outside. Cycled 17 miles. Still full of nervous energy I haven't even had any caffeine aaaaa (But I saw a pretty lake)
Went outside. Brought husband to work. Returned cable box and phone box to cable company. Ate poutine. Drove to moirail's - on the way, drove through light to heavy rain. Saw lightnings. Got to moirail's. Gave her cat pettins. 9/10 would do again, perhaps with less stupid rush hour traffic.
went outside after tornado warning was over. Everything was sunny and beautiful and wet. inside again cause mosquitoes.
Went outside. Took a ferry, drove past a shitload of treefarms, met up with cousins, camped, hiked up to a sweet waterfall cut through some rocks that i couldn't identify but which the USGS map tells me was probably one of "sheared sandstone semischist, slate and phyllite," ate boiled eggs, became one with the boiled eggs via hot springs, camped some more, drove to some serious temperate rainforest, hiked a trail very accurately named the 'Hall of Mosses," admired nurse logs wider than I am tall and often more than 200 feet long, ogled spruces I couldn't see the tops of from the ground, hiked through an old stream channel to the current channel of the Hoh, speculated about the source rocks of the milky blue sediment in it (probably schist), saw a bunch of algae in a river doing the whole "studio ghibli wind-over-grass" routine, tried to figure out how one would animate it, talked about post apocalyptic low-tech solarpunck and sail-trains, camped some more, got into a spat with my sibling, snagged a better campsite in the campground as the people in it left, lazed around in the nice campsite by the river, saw a vole, saw the vole die, went hiking up into the rainforest more, saw a nurse stump with three generations of trees (the stump, two relatively mature trees on it, one snapped of and dead, and a foot-high sapling just starting to grow from the stump), saw so much moss and trees and ferns, walked down to the banks of the Hoh, dipped a tow in, decided it was way too fucking cold, climbed around on logjams of logs wide enough to lay down on crossways with root masses easily 15 feet tall, 'splored meandering stream geology, encountered grasshoppers (?) that clicked as they flew, got into a fight with some thistles, camped some more, stayed up stirring coals and looking at the stars, said goodbye to cousins, ate camp-stove chocolate chip pancakes, drove back through treefarms, drove through Forks, which is looking more alive than the last time I went through (say what you like about Stephanie Myer, but I think she's done good by the economy of that town), got ice cream, took ferry back, broke a glass container unpacking the car. 9/10 would go outside again
Went outside, went to pieology for dinner, finished half a pizza, am now regretting it (will head to barnes and noble after i find my will to walk across the parking lot)
Went outside. Went looking for short cut to daughter's soon to be school that my husband claimed was there. it was, but it was an up hill hike in the hottest part of the afternoon. oops. going to have to walk the route some more and build up some stamina.
[Premise: sister woke me up before 7 am, such a tragedy] went outside, went on a 40 minute walk around the cul-de-sac and up a steep hill. Legs hurt, side where kidney located cramped and i just took a shower to get rid of sweat. Saw the sun come up while i was walking and a cute guy running too. 8/10, would give another point if there were more cute guys to look at
do we get pictures of these earrings? I wanna see :3 went outside, ended up at work. nothing to do at work. browsing tumblr.
Went outside to find the strawberries seem to have recovered from transplanting and survived the heat wave. They're starting to put out new stems!
