yeah im pretty sure quirks are canonically audible to trolls latula makes a joke about a(fter)life vs for life (4lyf3 4 lyf3)
In the context of the comic, the quirks didn't go away but neither did the format change. It was still written out like a chat log. If I'm reading a fic that's otherwise completely normal story format English and then suddenly the characters open their mouths and out pops something like "hey conde2eniing douche fiin2, you 2uck bulge!" Nope. Pops me straight out. That's not a lisp, it doesn't parse as an accent, and my suspension of belief has been kicked in the balls.
A friend of mine had a broken R key for a while, and worked around it by pasting "r" from the clipboard wherever they needed it. As a result, occasionally they'd end up SCrEAMING IN ALL CAPS EXCEPT FOr LOWErCASE r'S EVErYWHErE
There was an incident I never saw and really wish I had; someone on LJ ages ago ranted about a fic in which, somehow, a guy fell and landed with his mouth on the dick of the guy who just kicked him in the back. I will forever wonder what the hell the author thought they were writing there.
A commenter said the only way they could picture it is if the guy was suspended in midair and flipped completely over. Also said "Maybe they're snakes, but then they'd have nothing to knee with".
Spoiler: violence This might just be because I write gore, but people who tag a noncon/violent fic with "hardcore" and it turns out to be just pretty straightforward and standard. "Hardcore" to me suggests broken bones at least.
I think this is one that varies by fandom. Wrote a fic were one guy gets disemboweled and another takes a hatchet to the head only to keep going, and merely tagged it canon typical because Homestuck. But if I was writing idk Care Bears fic or something I would def tag that hardcore. I've seen the same thing crossing into other fandoms with their expectations of what constitutes an E rating being any sexy things happening at all even if it went to a tasteful fade to black.
It's TFP Ratchet with his wavery voice, doing what SHOULD be 'ah ah ah--' in a 'hold up' way. I just... don't even know. I couldn't find a clip of him doing the ah ah ah thing, but this is close. I'm confused about how any of these onomatopoeia choices were made, and then 'tittered' is just the little bit of extra no for the wrongness cherry on top Spoiler: nsfw Also, this is right in the middle of a gangbang. Where he's trying to tell Smokescreen how to suck his cock properly. Also physics is.... JESUS, I don't even know. After Ratchet finished, I'm pretty sure Wheeljack and Bulkhead and Ultra Magnus all got their dicks inside the guy's valve at once, all while Bumblebee and Optimus both got their dicks in his mouth. WHERE DO ALL THESE BODIES GO. These are some insanely bulky robots with some giant-ass shoulders and delicate lil' hips, never even mind how silly triple-teaming someone's singular orifice is to begin with, because where do they all go. Oh, and Bulkhead manages to whisper in Smokescreen's ear while he's involved in this triple penetration car wreck. Here, scale. Blue is taking all the penetration here, while, ALL SIMULTANEOUSLY, the reds double team his mouth and the greens triple team his valve. Bonus for the author leaving the smallest, slenderest teammate just playing around on the sidelines and not getting involved at all while the largest, bulkiest members apparently phase through each other. No!
I have vague recollections of reading a fic like that -- surely there aren't THAT many "Autobots gangbang Smokescreen" fics out there. Surely. On a related note, I'm somewhat familiar with a writer who inserts h's into certain parts of Ratchet's dialogue in what I'm fairly sure is a clumsy attempt at transcribing that slightly breathy voice he's got. "What!?" as Ratchet is inclined to say becomes "hWhat!?" It breaks my immersion every time.
No, you can't excuse anatomy fail by claiming it was xeno after the fact. See infamous case where the writer tried to use demonic invulnerability as an excuse after having it pointed out that gay sex does not involve shoving one dick into another dick.
My response to villains doing violently nonconsensual things to heroes is probably not intended by the authors of the fics in question to be Why Don't You Just Shoot Them.
