human/oid adopts are super popular, and those are pretty cheap for what I sometimes see. I really like the left one and would buy her if I wasn't full up on adopts >>;;;; I need to stop, I've amassed an army oops Having an account [or accounts, for visibility] solely for adoptables is a solid plan. Deviantart, FurAffinity, and Tumblr are all ok, but Tumblr is the weakest when it comes to selling premade items. Deviantart is better, with Furaffinity being the second best choice. Unfortunately when people first start out, it's hard to sell premades at prices that are what the art is worth. You tend to need to gain popularity before you can pop things off [esp. adopts on bases]. Such is life, and I wish ppl didn't feel entitled to cheaper prices because the artist is unknown or something stupid like that.

I bought one adoptable from a friend. one. adoptable. it was just such a cute design. AND NOW GUESS WHAT I'VE BEEN DOING FOR THE PAST THREE HOURS. looking at more adoptables and mentally designing things I could sell myself as adoptables I've bid on three more. not expensive ones, and I'm not going to continue to bid if someone else bids higher, but.... h e l p m e
me, sobbing over my fourth adoptable purchase: thank you IT WAS JUST SO CUTE AND FLUFFY LOOKING AND IT WAS ONLY 10 POINTS ON DA AND THAT'S S O C H E A P AND IT WAS!! TOO CUTE TO PASS UP AAAAAAAAAAA I'm dying
I'm working on designing an adoptable species also I'm making just general adoptable things also I found the open species tag.....excuse me while I line up what my art for the next two years will be. this is my life now. adoptables.
So, as one of Kintsugi's top 3,000 thread necromancers, I have a question: A friend is considering working on an online platform for adoptables. People could own them, and there would be some kind of time-based evolution system, details are a bit vague right now. On the artists' side, she would like to make it as easy as possible to create a good character, and for that she'd like some ideas for features that would help you, as a creator, with that. Obviously, you're also welcome to give feature suggestions for normal users too.
Honestly I've never seen the appeal of adoptables other than having a cute lil character to look at, and I never thought I'd catch myself wanting to actually purchase one (I'm stingy af and not proud of it -_-) but. Shrimp tailed dragons . They're so??? Cute?????? I haven't gotten one yet but my restraint is waning more and more with each passing day. Here's three for sale and the general info: https://little-noko.tumblr.com/tagged/shrimp-tailed-dragon
