I wish I could get mileage out of word replacers more, but they're the kind of thing that twigs me to use for any length of time, even though they seem great fun I'd have to turn off a lot to actually read things.

In the Snitch thread I had suggested "Learn to masturbate."

FUCK you don't want to know the sound I made upon reading this, it was the kind of helpless laughter that as literally made people go "are you okay" when I do it over skype.

 

Yeah, there are probably things I'll need to deactivate mine to read...

(Also, new replacement: "literally don’t care" > "care obsessively and don't know how to use the intensifying "literally"")

 

So uh changing "dick", etc. to "fear wand" has some consequences I didn't realize would happen

I had some amusing consequences of changing "venting" to "being a vicious asshat". Apparently words like "preventing" exist.

 

That's why I put spaces around "antis" when I word-replaced it. Makes it so it's possible to talk about mantises and antisemitism. :::PPP Still misses it if it's at the start of a sentence, but I'd rather have false negatives than false positives.

 

Oooh, ooh, I just saw one too many whiny bullshit things about how horrible it is that someone unfollowed the person. So now I've got "unfollow" replaced with "disembowel", to better reflect the apparent gravity of the matter.

Edit: In an unintentional bonus, if I visit the blog of someone I'm following, tumblr now gives me the option to disembowel them!
