.... with (I am uneducated). If you don't know how to use a proper fucking ellipse you don't deserve to use one at all.
I think .... is technically correct in formal writing if it's used to indicate a missing section after the end of a sentence, because the first is a period and then there's the ellipsis. ...of course, I admit my inclination would be to replace it with ".............................................................Dumblydore!", which says a lot about my sense of humor.
formal writing, yes, but most of my hick moron friends on facebook aren't writing an academic paper when they....speak....like....this..... It makes me wonder what they're leaving out. Usually when the write like that they're spewing idiocy and opinions, so I ask myself if that's the creme of the crop, what boneheaded blithering stupidity is left on the cutting room floor?
I might remove this one eventually because I'm actually starting to gloss over sentences like this. "Ah, yes. Necromancy. That sounds like the right word."
Thanks for this suggestion, Luka: EDIT: It's tempting to make "against-ddlg"/"against-cgl"/"against-bad-ships" etc. change to either "against-survivors" or "the-fighty-wankweasel," but I'll leave it for now.
I grew up in an era when the term "autism" was only used for very obviously disabled people and kids like me were just "gifted weirdos who need to learn how to social and stop talking about Star Trek 24/7 whether they want to or not" and this is essentially how I figured out that I'm a sperg.
