What made YOU happy recently?

I really hate salad dressings, sadly. Texture thing.

 

I'm told roasted with melted cheese is a great way to eat the bitter cabbage-adjacent greens when you otherwise don't like them.

Today I had a really nice chat about tabletop things with an artist whose stuff I really love, and I think I humanned quite well? And that’s really exciting because I thought I’d be really nervous but I wasn’t, so I didn’t babble or anything and they seemed equally engaged in the conversation so aaaaa!!! I humanned!!! I’m very pleased.

Also I bought lots of zines and comics at the convention and they’re reallllll good and make me happy <3

 

a coworker made poached eggs on toast for morning tea at work today and they were delicious!! I had seconds :D

I saw Vienna Teng in concert last night with my brother!! :D It was amazing, aaaaaaaa

She does! I'm not sure if she does it, like, regularly the way she used to, but she was in NYC this weekend and did a couple shows with some other musicians.

 

I went to a cooking class for South Indian seafood tonight, and it was a lot of fun! And I came home with a whole booklet of recipes, and I got to make a chutney! And the instructor was really impressed with how the chutney I worked on turned out? Like, asked if it was my first time making one levels of "wow, that turned out really well".

Save The Light (the SU game) finally came out for Switch this morning and I bought it! It's downloading now aaaaaaaaaaah :D

 

I usually find out about this stuff through Bandsintown, if it helps. I live under a rock so I'd always miss this stuff otherwise, but alerts about upcoming shows have been a lot easier to keep up with.

 

I figured out a PROBLEM with some CRITICAL THINKING and PROBLEM SOLVING!! Now my tool gives me the COOL OUTPUT I DESIRE.

 

Further happiness: I’ve played a bit now (I’m saving most of it for my trip, which is ALSO extremely happymaking, but I wanted to play SO BAD and @Key suggested that I play a bit to get a feel for the controls, and save the rest for later, so that’s what I’m doing) and it’s REALLY FUN so far!! And the graphics are FUCKING ADORABLE. :D

 

One of my volunteers brought me a cupcake :D it was strawberry

 

tomorrow is the last day of my current work contract so in celebration my coworkers bought me some scones and chocolates for a special lunch!!! it was delicious <3
