New hoodie is warm, roomy, and has pockets, plus the decal is embroidered rather than printed so it won't wear off and there's a backing patch on the embroidery so it won't chafe!
put up a shelf and am feeling that I can make positive changes to my environment. and my friend texted me at night to go make a snowman while the snow was still falling! we made a big snow king with comically long snow legs and took selfies with him. I am cosy and I got things done today without totally burning myself out. :)!
I got one from Santa! His name is Fauci and he's a good good plaguey boi. Extremely huggable and hella soft, 11/10 would recommend. Spoiler: my beautiful son
I swore off buying plushies after I got too old to actually play with them, but I still want one. Maybe I could call it a COVID souvenir. Also heteronormativity has demanded there's a girl version, and I should object but it's so cute! (The girl ones are available on eBay.)
You're never too old to play with plushies, imo! Plus they're very good to cuddle with for sleepytimes. (no i am NOT just trying to justify my massive ever-expanding plushie collection shhh)

I completed chapter one of my first draft of a potentially publishable novella! Whoo! I just needed to get onto the interesting bit. Now I have more setup to do in chapter two, which is also boring to write, but at least I know it's just a hump to get over.
I got my phone (which has been giving me grief for a while and became completely unusable the other day) replaced! :D
