What made YOU happy recently?

Got a buncha cute stationary, getting back into my old letter-writing hobby. ^-^

 

Drastic new haircut, and now I look like Colin Meloy.

 

I am making *incredible* mac and cheese tonight.

Also in the middle of a new poetry challenge.

 

Decorator's finished! I have my space back! And damn is it gorgeous now. Worth the disruption.

 

My mom let me tag along to her work today and I've spent the day doing fun crafts (She works at a Jellystone Resort)! I'm gonna get to go on the glowing hayride tonight too :::DDD

I have not even checked how many games that is, but I am so excited.

 

I went to a drag show yesterday with friends! it was amazing, I hope we can go to more of them in the future

Scored a couple of tickets to an opera last Sunday, it was great! Me and my best friend dressed all fancy and it was super fun

 

Birbthiday Tuesday!!! The big three oh!!! Going to the aquarium with my mom tomorrow to celebrate! Low key kinda nervous about completely new experience, high key excited as fuck!!!!!!

had an amazing day, went to Lush with my best friend and then we brought a chair home from goodwill and went out for boba tea :)

 

Yummy curry, a cute new plastic critter friend, and unexpected chore help from a sib!

 

I don‘t rly know my grandpa, but he keeps intentionally validating my gender?? and I‘m really grateful. I always read him as a taciturn probably conservative guy who only wishes to talk about obscure areas of law, and that may still be true because truly conversations with him universally last three short sentences, but I guess he is also interested in calling me my chosen name and making jokes that assume I’m a man, when my parents are very much not. So, I‘m feeling a lot of things but I‘m really happy.

(also sorry I disappeared for 100 years. it will probably happen again)

 

I have been getting *all* the cuddles from my kitty.

Also next week I'm gonna finally catch The Boy and the Heron and get a nice sushi dinner with friends. ^_^

 

Getting Lingule on the first guess always makes me feel so powerful. :D

Eldest sis and I are Moving! Not very far at all but having our own space and breathing room after a lifetime with sometimes pretty overbearing parents is... it's taking some processing to comprehend.

 

Congratulations! Moving out can be scary, but when I first did it I *loved* having my own space.
