I GOT TO PET A SHARK. multiple sharks, actually, and also got to pet some stingrays, but seriously, sharks. anyone who knows me knows i really love sharks :') EDIT: i can't believe i forgot to mention: one of the sharks booped me with its snoot and i almost cried in the middle of the aquarium. sharks are so good and so pure.

I've been given the go ahead to start decorating my desk at work for Christmas! Which means hauling my little black tree and creepy kitsch deer ornaments out of the loft. Have yet to decide what tree decorations I'm making this year. Last year it was tentacles.
Got to tear vp wooden flooring today! Worked hard, pal^^s are brvised and hands are fvll of scrapes and splinters. Bvsy work, little ti^^e to sit down, and was cal^^ when I did take breaks, which is good for ^^e! Good day.
My mom shared an image on FB, and added her piece. (NOTE: She's still getting used to using the singular they, hence the "his or her," but she's made a lot of progress there and is generally great about using it when it's someone's actual pronoun set. And she's always been wonderful about everything else.) I'm so thankful to have parents like her and my dad. Parents with whom coming out was a nonissue, who are excited to get to meet my girlfriend in person (that's another thing I'm happy about--she got her plane tickets and Sac ticket yesterday!), who love me--and my friends--unconditionally.
Tomorrow I will be sending off four christmas parcels; two for my best uni friends, one for my moirail in the US, and one for my cousins also in the US. I have already sent one for my friend in Germany. I am so happy right now even though I'm gonna be spending a ton on postage. I feel like I am SPREADING THE LOVE.

the fact that Hank McCoy and Emma Frost are pals just slays me. they're all nonjudgemental, but like completely frank with each other, it's adorable. they're so weirdly respectful and nice, and it's just lovely, okay? god, it wonder if there's any good fics about them?
@swirlingflight this is the first time i've heard anyone voice sans and papyrus, i think, and they don't sound much like how i imagined their voices in my head.
@unknownanonymous Ah! Well, hang on a sec. I can give you a sample of their canon "voices" such as it were. Undertale does this cute thing where the major characters have this, like, beeping or typewriter sound accompanying their speech. And each of them has a different one. It gives you an impression of high/low voices, whether they're drawling or nasaly or scratchy. So voices for Sans work best when they're low, full of chuckling at his own jokes. Papyrus is only sorta low, because he's more... skeletor? eta damn it, I was trying to set the video to go to 1:51 as the start. This is where I meant.
I ordered some Gravity Falls swag from someone on Storenvy and she sent me a hand-drawn card with it that has the most adorable drawing of baby Stanford and baby Stanley saying "You're awesome!" and now that's on my fridge to remind me that I am in fact awesome even when I don't feel like I am. IDK if she does that for all her buyers or if she's someone I know from tumblr under another name... but it's so sweet!
