Holy shit you guys. I have to share this. Every september my club does a food drive for our local food bank, and this year I was in charge of it. We decided at the beginning of the month that we would just do cash this time because thats what the food bank needs right now. There were seven of us tgere when we decided that, we all pledged $10, and you know, thats not bad for a group of about 15 people on a good day. And then i started offering incentives. Fast forward two weeks. Half of my excess craft supplies are gone, i have promised to take a pie to the face, and WE RAISED TWO HUNDRED FUCKING DOLLARS
my parents mailed me a bunch of stuff, including my big poofy lands end down vest It has huge pockets, you could fit a kitten in there if you didnt mind tiny claws investigating and trying to find the source of the feathers its waaaaaaarm (i may ask for a new or different one for xmas because this one was from a consignment store and thus had 0 choice of colour but aaa warms) Also, i'm visiting my parents in less than a month and i will eat of the delicious sweet potato soup at Small Local Restaurant... nyom

I had a burger for breakfast even though our fast-food joints only offer breakfast til 10 / 10:30, because there's a good truck that sells them! Hurray! And I am showered and cozy and in bed
I just found out one of the kids at the preschool I teach at named not one, but two of her toys after me. I feel so honored. I cant stop smiling because that is just such a cute thought.
