AAAHHHHH GETTING AN XBOX ONE FINALY!!!! Took a chance on an 11 day old ad on craigslist, got a response immediately saying it’s still available, and a friend is shipping two controllers to us, as well as chucking the Xbox One version of Diablo III at Teagan and I! I. AM. SO. HAPPY.
I had an awesome time at Fanime and made some new friends there, and I got some sweet loot while still mostly sticking to my budget! (This included finally getting a Pokeball button, which is, for some fucking reason, something I've never owned.)
1. I have two volunteers (I have a lot of volunteers but this is about these two) that have declared me their School Mom and I'm so touched?? They like me so much?? 2. I went to my town's Pride festival today, and I got a lipstick lesbian flag and I'm so happy about that. Spoiler: big pictured: me, holding the flag backwards like a dumbass but who cares I also got a free unicorn plushie! Her name is Violet and she's clearly a MLP knockoff stylistically and I adore her. Spoiler: even more bigger And on top of all that, I got to see some friends, which was really lovely. :D It's been a good day!
today has been such a good day so far?? my sleep kinda sucked but then I got a lot of stuff done at work today, got a batch of ideas for oc stuff to work with and wrote a little something, then I've gotten home and there's been all sorts of cool new things to check out too...it's been such a welcome change from the last few sluggish days!
started and finished a ~4k fic featuring a scenario I've been wanting to write for ages!! and it came out really good!!!
I've mentioned this elsewhere, but I finally found the body wash I'd been looking for for years (a specific Teen Spirit scent that's advertised as smelling like tropical fruit but actually smells tantalizingly of candy), which I genuinely thought might have gone out of production, and ordered a few bottles!! :D
