Got up earlier than usual, stripped the bedsheets, put a laundry load on, aired the bedroom, fed the cat, cleaned up where the cat yarked all over my chair, vacuumed, put items in online grocery basket.
Sent emails to my one specialist about paperwork, one to the government on sunday about getting paperwork i need for taxes, remembered to send in an idea to my boss to try to follow up in the morning, uhh... made some food
Came home. Voted in the referendum. Made dinner, put a load of laundry on. Emptied the dishwasher. Sorted through some more boxed of stuff that still remain from my move. Put the laundry on the drying rack. And now I am going to go to bed.
Cleaned out the coffee maker, called the doctor's office for refills, put away a load of laundry, and looked up the numbers to make a psych and eye appointment
Did a laundry, dropped off the paperwork i emailed the specialist about, went to an appointment and now have more paperwork to consider. Put gas in the car
Made the bed, opened windows, put towels on for a medic wash, vacuumed the stairs (hell), took my meds, did a sinkful of washing up. Waiting for grocery delivery rn.
My room went from disgustingly coated in dust and grime, only able to see 5% of the floor, to fully swept and (almost, I have sorted but not put away the last pile) completely neatened.
i finally went to the bike repair shop which ive been putting off because $ ive been having problems with my bike for like 6 months and it turns out all that was wrong with it was that i twisted the handlebars around which made the brakewires super tight and basically always a little bit pressed. which is exactly what it felt like when i was riding it. but they didnt charge me for it because it was such an easy fix
Storyboarded, sketched and inked two (2) full comic pages over the course of six hours. I physically did not think that was possible. edit: I posted the finished thing in the drawing thread!
Junebugged around my room and got laundry put away, cleared floorspace so it doesn't look cluttered and messy (which involved shoving some stuff into the closet, because there's just nowhere else to put it right now). The floor's been swept, and I did the hallway too, and I washed my bedding and put brand new sheets on. It's not Completely Clean, but it's better. Especially since a big part of the problem was that there was a folding chair sitting around that hadn't been put away after it got used for a stepstool.
I EFFECTIVELY CLEANED THE STAIRS so the apartment we live in now is the first place i've ever lived that has stairs, and i basically had no idea what to do with them? my mind just sort of skips over them when i'm taking an account of what i need to clean. so for the past 2-ish years i've just been poking at them with a broom every once and a while, and the dust bunnies and grim have been building up. the last time my s.o's family came to visit i freaked out a bit and cleaned them step-by-step with a rag and some floor cleaner, but that was both a lot of work and not actually very effective. but TODAY i got in there with a hand vac on a whim and it worked SO WELL. it just sucked up all the bits of dust and dirt and whatever else that gets stuck in the cracks! and it only took like five minutes! incredible!
Emptied house bins and took them outside Scrubbed the kitchen floor with antibacterial cleaner Load of laundry Dishes Vacuumed Wiped down surfaces Stored coffee pods and meds in proper places Tidied up in hall Measured space for storage units
did a laundry last night and folded it today, washed some dishes and put them away, scanned most of my tax paperwork and sent it off to my mom who's going to do the actual filling-out part. Edit: AND phoned the people to ask for information needed for my insulin pump coverage, and forwarded that info to the right person
Actually went to the psychiatrist so I can not run out of meds and did the next step in the animation I need to do so far. Hoping to finish the rest of the head animation for that shot and finish cleaning the rest of my room clutter
Made it to my appointment for my disability assessment! And made it through the whole process, even though it was four hours of talking and tests and my throat has been hurting since I woke up.
Went shopping. Also arranged for a checkup I really donĀ“t want but should have and want someone to be proud of me or at least my inner five year old.
@Codeless I'm proud of you! Shopping and unwanted checkups are both really draining prospects. Good on you for taking charge of shit and getting stuff done.
