I cooked! I am proud. =3 I've been meaning to cook for like the last two weeks. (I have a meal plan so it wasn't like I wasn't eating or anything, just not cooking...)

I graded, what, fourtysomething essays today? Wow, I didn't even realize they were that many. The fact I have 160 to go until Wednesday morning doesn't help me in feeling accomplished in this /:

Finally fixed the lightbulb in the stairwell which we always think of when it's too dark to do it because there's no lightbulb.

Today I've cleaned a bunch of dishes, did a load of laundry, went out to do a food shop, made dinner for myself and husband, and at the end of the day did a bunch of general tidying and puttings things away. All while suffering from a bad cough and having forgotten my happy pill this morning. I am feeling goddamn superheroic right now. I deserve all the breaks.

(Sometimes I just have a day when the stars are right and I do a whole bunch of things all in one go. My ADHD and depression balance themselves out perfectly, or something. It's nice.)

wrote TWO WHOLE PAGES of my thesis this morning. a page an hour (on average) barely counts as being productive, but the uni network was down and most of my references are online, so i had to make do with the only article i had downloaded. now i'm doing some housework - my room is a pigsty right now - and will try to write a couple more pages after dinner. couldn't talk to my major's coordinator to see the requirements for my graduation (he wasnt there) so i'm also... psyching myself up to send him an email instead of just showing up at his office randomly and hoping he's there.

i did see the coordinatorest coordinator for my major tho and hid from him like the plague. i hate that man.

Finished adding every new character from the latest book in my obscure fandom to the Wikia I run for it. Because I'm that much of a spergy nerd about it and PROUD. Now I need to flesh out those articles but at least they exist!

    which obscure fandom?

(i mean, if that's not Identity Revealing or anything. just asking 'cause well, yeah... obscure fandoms do kinda need more love. :D)

P.C. Hodgell's Kencyrath book series. The heroine is my avatar. I'm ... kinda nuts over them, even though I know and acknowledge their flaws. (If you're seriously Mary Sue-allergic, avoid).

Made a furniture! I wanted a thing to put a mini-fridge on. Now I have one. (It had unusual spatial requirements, which is why this was a thing to make.) Still need to go back and fix a thing or two.

    Today is a good day!
    • Slept in (important because my entire week was busy busy busy)
    • Went to a local store for witchy stuff, was so tempted to get everything I ended up leaving empty-handed
    • Went to a craft store and got new colorful beads for embroidery
    • Went to the supermarket and bought over a week's worth of groceries to cook at home
    • Started a tiny windowsill herb garden (let's see how long I can keep it up, I'm terrible at gardening)
    • Cooked lunch (scrambled eggs with tuna and mushroom,s really not as good as it sounds but still nice to eat, plus with lots of lettuce on the side!)
    • Rearranged my magic cabinet, which I'dd allowed to get cluttered with non-magic things I didn't know where to put
    • Went to the sports club to ask about a gym membership (I'm already a club member, but gym fees are separate). Will have to return on Thursday.
    • Researched for a textile project I want to develop and thought long and hard about the materials it'll require
    • Researched and downloaded new podcasts
    • Did a payment
    • Bought and downloaded Life Is Strange
    • Renewed library loans (ugh I need to actually write the paper ugh ugh uuuuugh)
    • Did some planning and realized "wait, no way am I gonna waste my actual weekend with responsibilities I can attend to during the week", yay <3
    • Am now crocheting while watching Agent Carter and waiting for bro to pick me up for family dinner
    • When I get home, I'm going to videogame!
