Alright, final poll for this weekend (not necessarily for afterwards)

2) tomorrow from like 5:30 or 6pm my time to 10:30-11pm

Oh hey, apparently the daylight savings time switchover is tonight. man, i'd forgotten about that.

Can I get some feedback so I know if I should run game tonight or tomorrow?

 

can do tomorrow orrr come in late tonight, but if it's tonight I might come in pretty late

 

(Bird is too lazy to log in) Both should be fine for me! I'll double check about the permanent change later but as of now it should be ok.

 

Tonight would probably be better for me since tomorrow I am going to be helping mom on her build but I can do either.

 

Alright, looks like we've got a quorum for either one.
In that case, I think I'll go with tomorrow, so I can give Moss a bit more time to play, since they haven't been able to make it for a few sessions (and so I can run around and see what halloweeny stuff is going on tonight and still have some prep time).

I'll give everyone a 1-hour ping tomorrow, to avoid some of the mess of dealing with time zones and dst, but I'm planning to start like 5:30ish est. We can decide if we want to make this a permanent swap afterwards.

@whimsicalobservant i assume you're asleep right now, so I'm gonna apologize in advance for making you wake up to an announcement that game's been moved again. :/ hopefully you can sleep well and play later today/tomorrow/however that sorts out with timezones.

One of the things I love about playing Ilma in this story is, she can spout the most inane escapist nonsense and still not be terribly far off mark.

 

So how did that time work for everyone? Do we want to do a permanent move to sunday 5:30 to 11ish EST?

I am placing my bet on brand new! Totally unsupported speculation- they are a bug type species that are hiveminds centered around "queens"- the five cL talked about are five groups of hiveminds.

 

I'm definitely thinking insectoid, although technically the trolls are insectoid too so that doesn't rule them out :P

As for time, I'm not gonna know for sure until I get back home to my actual time zone, but as usual I'm flexible and will probably be fine.

@Wiwaxia I think it'll be easier for me to wrap my head around timezones/daylight savings to know what the GMT offset for EST is right now? The website I'm using is saying it's currently GMT-5. If that's correct, then that timing will be absolutely perfect for me :3

 

I think it's very important that all of you realise that with kids + guardians we can have all 12 aspects and titles
I don't know why I find that cool but there you go (I suspect it's probably because I find the title/aspect thing super cool and like speculating on potential powers)
(remaining titles/aspects, by the way, are Heir/Prince/Bard/Sylph/Maid/Thief and Mind/Light/Blood/Doom/Life/Rage)
(just saying I can imagine Lemi's Sis as a Doom player, and Tia as Blood or even Rage)
also @Wiwaxia would it be of any use to you if I rambled about Tia's personality? It's on my mind at the moment, and since the Guardians showed up in one of Ilmatar's clouds I wondered if I should flesh her out a bit more.
