I wrote up that How To Leon thing for WW and let me tell you, a) it's kinda cool seeing how events in the game thus far have shaped his characterisation, b) wow that boy has problems and c) I now really just want to roleplay him interacting with the other kids. Gotta get him through dem gates.

^while I definitely think you should read the backlog b/c it includes some really lovely writing from WW (and some great reactions from The Gang(TM)), I got overexcited and wrote a summary:

Spoiler: Leon's (recent) timeline

So, Leon hits level 4 and returns home to find a note taped to his fridge, telling him how to get his time devices. He goes through his first gate and, with some difficulty (and meeting up with SM again!) makes his way over to Hephaestus' dungeon, which is actually a fancy, soulless office building.
MEANWHILE, Moss, who has broken their foot and is being poisoned to death by a gristmoss, is saved by future!Leon on a hoverboard, because I suggested it as a joke while we were brainstorming ways to get Moss out of it, and WW was like 'do you want to do that, because you can'.
After some consternation, Leon draws the LEON GASPAR COOLDUDE drawing, uses his timepower to hide it behind a piece of 'art' on the wall, then rips up the original.

Leon Gaspar: i then go over and inspect behind the farmost circly thing
Wiwaxia (GM): it's the picture you just ripped up
you feel time slide sideways

Thing is, Leon's time devices only exist in the dungeon in doomed timelines. He goes through the dungeon (nearly dying to a pair of ogres), reads some glyphs, catches a glimpse of pre-apocalypse NYC and what is presumably pre-flood LORAM.

Wiwaxia (GM): a voice without words in the rolling of the thunder tells you that you have made the wrong choice, the only choice you could have made
now you must walk this path to its end, and yours

Leon finds his time devices, a pair of cinderblocks with effect-pedals. Pedalblocks! Or pedalclocks, the glyphs were unclear. This version of Leon has a conversation with his past self, renaming himself to interludesFinale for clarity's sake.

Leon then realises he can climb down into pre-apocalypse NYC. He wanders around, overhears himself telling Tia all about this new game he's going to play with his friends tomorrow ... cries to himself for a while, buys a Starbucks, and heads back.

Alpha!Leon draws LEON GASPAR COOLDUDE and does not rip it up, fixing the timeline and officially dooming interludesFinale. IF hands over the pedalblocks along with a bunch of instructions, they have another awkward conversation, then IF heads up to the roof.

Leon Gaspar: i wander back up to the rooftop
stare out over the skyline
Myrtha Oscurr: pls don't throw yourself off
(To GM): permission to throw myself off?
Myrtha Oscurr: ...wait
(From Wiwaxia (GM)): go for it

Leon Gaspar: i think about my friends
