I am not sure that Myrtha should be shorter than Lemi, though that is in part because I have this image of Lemi as very smol.

 

I went entirely off that one drawing of everyone together from ages ago :P warning: characters pictured may be larger or smaller than they appear.

Even I'm not sure how tall Lemi is like I am 99% sure I draw her taller every time bc my aesthetic tends towards tall and lanky

im not gonna put her on an eye of the storm hairtrigger, as shes among friends and that helps with her overall issues

 

i love everything about that

leon absolutely just uses his powers to be everywhere at the Perfect Moment, and also to try and keep everyone out of trouble

 

Lemi can help you achieve your dreams, get what you've always wanted and do what you've always wanted to. She has to use her powers sparingly, though, because for every person she helps there's another whose dreams are ruined

 

...does she get a choice in whose dreams are ruined because like. If she just ruined the dreams of asshole CEOs or whatever that might not be so bad. like. someone gets a miraculous transplant and goes to the college of their choice on full scholarship and gets a perfect job immediately and simultaneously Donald Trump's presidential campaign suddenly tanks utterly and on every level.

Good news, everyone! it's daylight savings so the timing is slightly better for me!

 

Actual thought I just had: what if IP dies because Lemi has her coat. Like. In case you thought I wasn't as much a disaster as she is

 

What if Theatre People AU. Lemi works on the set crew but somehow ends up on stage after a series of Bets and Shenanigans.

 

Oh my god theatre tech crew is like. My main THING. I have opinions.

I wanna say myrtha is lights cause that's my Thing and coincidentally the one that's objectively best but tbh she might get closer to sound as time goes. This is fine though because sound is an arcane and mysterious thing that I do not like or understand, much like the void! But she's up in the booth either way.

Leon is costume department of course. No one really thought otherwise, probably.

If we're doing an actual theatre theatre moss could conceivably be the dramaturge, though that's not really TECH. elsewise, set design is sorta space related...

Ilmatar I have no idea. Maybe she could be an actor.

Also idk who our Mom Friend is but they're pretty much automatically stage manager.

 

...actually we could have it as derse=backstage and prospit=actors.

 

And now I'm torn between Leon as costumes/hair/makeup and Leon as Stage Manager.

 

i have no idea what a dramaturge is but it sounds fancy, so moss will love it

ETA: just looked it up, moss approves.

in a school theater, moss would be an average actor but would constantly try to get everyone to do workshops with stage fighting and then try to improv fights on stage

ETA Again: Helping with set design sounds awesome, though that may be a Me Personally thing, as i once spent like 2 hours designing a set of fucking stairs

 

Dramaturges do research and development for a play! So part of the job is I believe looking for historical context, intent of the writer, researching for various design choices, and so on! Since Moss is the one who uses books and is into history I thought it might be fitting...

Eta: Oh my god I'm taking a stage fighting class next year and I'm already p sure Myrtha would absolutely collude with moss on that

 

Consider: Myrtha works lights until suddenly the lights stop working and everything goes dark whenever she tries to work them. They work fine for anyone else.
Everyone has an enjoyable time flipping out about theater curses and Myrtha gets switched to working sound.

 

...excellent. She has gone and checked every bulb, cable, connection, patch, every bit of the board and it all should work Perfectly and YET.

 

Leon wants to multitask as stage manager and costumes/props b/c he's a Perfectionist.

also I'm laughing b/c I feel the same way you do about sound, except about lights. how do they work.
