I actually have Horde and Ally characters on WRA! On Moonguard, I have a belf Pally named Aibhne, and a belf Warlock, both around 90 or less. On WRA I've got a couple belves (Aledeyn, Aloran, Kandile) and draenai (ELLPHU MY LOVE MY ONLY) and like. One night elf. Because I'm really terribly in love with BC races. Also, for people who are bopping around on RP servers and willing to do mods, download TotalRP 3! It communicates with MRP and XRP, so you don't have to worry about missing those profiles, and it's really nicely set up. It also maintains a directory that stores the profiles of everyone you pass by, and updates if you pass them again and they've changed things. It's a great fuckin read whenever you're waiting for a queue to pop, lemme tell you. (Also I've said it in the Overwatch thread, but my blizz id is PRelations#1205 for anyone who wants to friend me!)

MG Goldshire is sort of a weird case, because like it definitely deserves some of the rep, but by this point the Goldshire rep has gotten to the point where you can't reasonably tell when it's real and when it isn't. I mean think about it: if every time you brought up tumblr someone went "huhuhuhuh you mean pornblr" and any artist who posted to tumblr was called a porn artist and everyone who happened to pass through tumblr while looking for writing/art/whatever was told they were looking for porn, at some point the actual porn companies and weird pornographers would go 'oh, so that's what that market is?' (See also: the number of loli artists who move into a fandom when the crusades against loli shit start there, because if there's crusades, there has to be a market, right?) So you get this spiraling loop of people doing the thing Because Funny and people doing the thing Because That's What You Do In Pornshire, and the more people who do it the more people think that's what you're supposed to do, and then Moongaurd gets a rep for being the porn server with Pornshire while WRA people smugly jack off in public and have babies on tables in quest hubs. But at least they aren't like those sluts in Moonguard right? (For all that I'm mostly on WRA these days because the guilds are better, I've run into a hell of a lot more ERP on this server. The smug superiority makes a great mask for all the shit people want to do but can't bring themselves to admit to.)
As a note we were once in a guild on WRA that would kick you if you were ever found in Goldshire because...? Reasons??? It's pretty common to act that way on the rp servers from what I hear, never was like that on The Venture Co or the other PVP RP servers. Probably because big hubs like that (which are mostly trolls of the not-wow-race-sort) tend to get wiped off the map in healthy PVP RP servers.
That said, fuck flying through Goldshire on MG these days. If I wanted low level smut trolling, I'd play a Fenoxo game instead.
yeah like the vast majority of the erpers in Goldshire on MG are just off server trolls who think they're seeing the locals but are just seeing off server trolls. To be fair the reputation of it DID stem from it being an ERP hub in early MG days. now it's just kind of a cyber sex chatroom for basically any WoW player. WrA goldshire actually used to be pretty decent and had actual RP in it in early days, but CRZ kind of fuckled Goldshire for every RP server that is linked with MG.
but smug superiority in regards to ERP is on both servers and endlessly stupid. but even ERPers in like the darknest channels will be all haughty about Goldshire and 'fuckalts' from what i recall. most RPers are kind of insufferable which is why i don't do it anymore..
so with the Endothermic Blaster apparently being this coming Winter Veil's present, I thought I'd poke around through the wardrobe and try to put together a Mei cosplay to go with it. Problem: the only fur-collar looking thing is a *mail* piece, so you can't use it on a frost mage :( otoh, it is reasonably possible to get a mail-wearing panda to look pretty reasonably Vaguely Mei-Like, so I might do something like racechange my shaman and try to get that piece, rather than insist on making her a frost mage just for theme. FRAWST SHAWK still exists, at least. i mean you can *sorta* get a Mei outfit in cloth, but without the fur collar it's definitely less obvious.
