Writing anxiety

Athol Magarac I prefer reading posts without a lot of topics.

I've got a few ideas, but I've been writing stuff I can't share for so long, and then I got utterly crushed about how even if I did share it, I'd just be bashed over it without anything constructive... that's if anyone reads it at all.

I'm also aware that I don't know about plot, pacing, motivation behind realistic human-like characters... I'm fine with subverting some things that have been a part of storytelling since they were written-down.

I don't know... how do I fix this?

What kind of thing are you after in particular? If there's a local library near you, I found Stephen King's On Writing to be quite good. Anything Stephen Fry says is generally very helpful.

I asked for feedback several times. How about starting there?
