Just. Tug. I dunno. It's a lever. Or something, I dunno. It giggles. (anyway folks, gotta sign off for now) (this has been much fun, thanks y'all)
>tug on stalactite There is the sound of some kind of mechanism opening. Hello, a different voice declares, and welcome to the λαβύρινθος. This voice appears to be automated. >stick leggy out real far I do not understand what "leggy" means.
>open A Small Notebook The face looks nervous. >ask the face if it knows what the λαβύρινθος is. It's- you know what I said about not wanting you to be food, but you're here to be food? It's somewhat related to that. Suddenly, the light-emitting energy ball above your head expands dramatically, illuminating the entire cave in that eerie red glow. You can see that stick you threw. Something's up with the bricked up exit, though. As you're looking at it, something like more grinding of rock against rock sounds, and the place where the cave wall goes from smooth to rough splits, leaving a fissure in the stone just big enough for you to step through.
> have a small internal freak out because YOU DON'T WANT TO BE FOOD! > calm yourself > approach the fissure in the stone.
> have a small internal freak out because YOU DON'T WANT TO BE FOOD! You end up flailing your arms just a little. You do feel a lot better, however. > calm yourself Good idea. > approach the fissure in the stone. You can see absolutely nothing on the other side.
> take stick, throw at fissure You are not near the stick. Do you want to go near the stick, or throw something else?
> go get stick You are now standing in the part of the room where the stick was. "stick" has been added to your inventory.
> return to fissure in wall You stand in front of the fissure in the wall. There is still nothing really visible through it. >throw stick through fissure There is a bright flash of light, and the stick fizzles out of apparent existence with a resounding sound of vague satisfaction.
> ....cautiously edge away from fissure > open A Small Notebook > ask what the fissure is and what it does
> ....cautiously edge away from fissure You are now standing near where the stick once was, but not exactly. >open A Small Notebook You already did that. > ask what the fissure is and what it does It's an exit. Isn't that what you want? The image shrugs, impressive as it is only a face. I mean, it's not necessarily the exit I'd advise.
