Spoiler if jasper is an antagonist this season does that mean she’s finally gonna finish off her redemption arc??!?
Spoiler: movie spoiler i feel like no one has pointed out that in system/BOOT.pearl when pearl says 'something is clearly wrong' she does the white diamond t-pose
I'm about a million years behind on this show but I have padparadscha feels (I left off just after lars ate dirt). Sorry if anyone's already analyzed this but I've always been kinda surprised that the diamonds wrote her off as unuseful considering all her "premonitions" are 100% accurate. A regular sapphire has to look through multiple timelines and pick the most likely one, leaving much room for error. Pad, however, is never wrong. She could've been an extremely useful asset, instead of trying to contact gems on the battlefield (or other colonies) who can make mistakes or give false reports she could tell you exactly, down to only a few seconds after, what was going on anywhere at any time. I may be overestimating the range, but damn. Talk about being OP
yeah I mean imho Padparadscha's past predictions absolutely have their use not exactly the same use as a normal Sapphire but I would consider her useful
this spinel-pearl swap au seems relevant to people’s interests here anonymousalchemist.tumblr.com/post/188270139792/demonladytakkuri-saiscribbles-my-own-take-on
I find it weird that I never noticed that Here We Are In The Future is the new theme song during the ten times I listened to it before I saw this. It seems so obvious now. Things I want to kind of be resolved a little, in order: 4. The whole cluster of gems in the center of the planet?? 3. Jasper Redemption?? 2. Those several thousand Rose Quartzes they have bubbled?? 1. Human fucking Zoo???
I can just hear Peal's laugh in this..... OuO The part that hurts is imagining Garnet and Amethyst not even knowing her and treating her like they treated Spinel tbh ;u;
Spoiler: crazy theory i don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet but i wonder if spinel's gem being turned upside down after she was traumatized means that something is "wrong" with pink too since her gem is normally upside down? like... she was born traumatized? "PD" also stands for "Personality Disorder"
Spoiler Hmmm. I'm not comfortable concluding that with any confidence, but there's some interesting points to lay out. - Spinel's gem was originally an upright heart, but when her grief and anger self-poofed her she reformed with it upside down. A nice dramatic visual cue for her condition, useful for us the viewers, but we don't have much information what that means in the show. - Pink's gem is upside down.... in comparison to White's. And White makes those comments about Pink being the parts of her she can't actually be, or something along those lines. - But Yellow and Blue's gems aren't aligned the same way as White's either. If orientation of gems is significant, if it means something about mind and personality, it's significant in them too. But White also makes some sharp comments about them that might be meaningful. - And does that mean it means something, that when Pink started the Rose disguise, she turned her gem to hide it with a different orientation? Did that deeply change her, in some way? I don't know. It's hard to say what's a convenient visual shorthand, what's significant to the characters, and what's some combo of both.
I think this is sufficiently random/obscure not to need a spoiler, so: some infinitesimal part of me was sitting there going......is this a Homestuck reference
Spoiler: theory! suicide if anything, i'd say it means she's hiding who she is? hiding her "PD" --but in the end, she does kill herself
